Anti Trample — Keep your crops safe
Tired of players and mobs jumping on your crops and ruining your farms?
Anti Trample stops players, animals and mobs from turning farmland into dirt and knocking off the crops growing on it. Install the plugin, start your server and your farms are protected straight away.
Players can still plant, grow and harvest their crops normally.
With Anti Trample, you get:
-
Protection against players jumping on farmland.
-
Protection against animals and mobs trampling your farms.
-
Protection for empty farmland while you’re getting ready to plant.
-
An option to stop mobs damaging crops directly, including rabbits eating carrots and ravagers breaking crops.
-
Separate switches for players, animals, mobs and other entities.
-
The option to turn protection off in selected worlds.
-
An optional permission that lets selected players bypass protection.
-
A config you can reload without restarting.
No extra plugins required. Protection works automatically for everyone, including OPs. Players don’t need a permission to have their crops protected.
To install:
Download AntiTrample.jar.
Stop your server.
Place the JAR inside your plugins folder.
Start your server. Your settings will be created in plugins/AntiTrample/config.yml.
If you’re updating, remove the old Anti Trample JAR and keep your existing plugin folder and config.
You can use these commands:
Command What it does /antitrample Shows the current plugin settings. /antitrample status Shows which protection options are enabled. /antitrample reload Applies changes made in the config. You can also use /atrample instead of /antitrample.
These permissions let you choose who can manage the plugin:
Permission What it allows antitrample.admin Access to the status and reload commands. antitrample.status View the plugin’s settings. antitrample.reload Reload the config. antitrample.bypass Trample crops when bypass is also enabled in the config. OPs can use the admin commands by default. Bypass is disabled by default, so even OPs stay protected.
To let selected players trample crops, set allow-permission-bypass: true and give those players antitrample.bypass.
You can also change which entities are protected, exclude worlds using disabled-worlds, and adjust the list of protected crops.
If you use villager crop farms, set:
prevent-mob-crop-damage: false This lets villagers harvest and rabbits eat crops again, while farmland trampling protection stays active.
Anti Trample focuses on trampling and crop damage caused by entities. Water, fire, explosions and players deliberately breaking crops still work normally. It won’t restore crops that were already destroyed.
There’s also an optional developer credit by default it is enabled. At the bottom of the config you’ll find:
credit developer: true When enabled, the joining player sees:
