Beta Redux is intended to look and feel as close to Beta 1.7.3 as possible while also immersing childhood fantasies such as creating a portal to the Aether, making Clay Soldiers, and making mini-games for you and your friends
Almost all structures and features of post b1.7.3 have been stripped away, there is still monster spawners but no strongholds, mineshafts, ocean monuments... etc. This pack is heavily designed to focus on BUILDING over ADVENTURING
