❤ Hardcore-lite
Blothera features a custom Hardcore-Lite system:
- Each death removes a Max Heart
- Max Heart can be restored through Golden Apples or sleeping near a campfire
- Health Regeneration from full hunger is disabled.
- Use suspicious stews, potions, golden apples and sleep to heal.
🧭 Real Exploration
The world is meant to be discovered.
- Coordinates disabled
- Navigation via maps and compasses
- Banners act as spawn points
- Expeditions require planning, supplies, and outposts.
🐄 Harder Survival
Survival systems are rebalanced:
- Crops require sunlight
- Animals must breed under open sky
- Overcrowding causes disease
- Progression requires multi-structure exploration
🚂 Chunk-loading Trains
Build real transportation networks:
- Link minecarts into physics-based trains
- Transport cargo and players
- Trade over long distances with active chunk-loading
🌑 Bloodmoon Nights
Every few weeks, the sky turns red.
- Powerful Blood Monsters spawn
- They appear even in well-lit areas
- They can hear you. Sneak to avoid detection.
🐀 Alignment
Features a custom alignment system:
- Killing players will cause alignment loss
- Low alignment = suspicious or bandit status
- Gain alignment by killing bandits
- Bandits can not join nations and are KOS
- Capture bandits with chains and drag them to your prison with leads The decision is yours. Play by the law of nations, or choose a life of banditry.
🏰 Player Nations
To form a nation, you must first defeat the Ender Dragon.
- Govern using books and lecterns
- All actions are recorded as historical records
- Form alliances or wage war
- Siege towns with cannons and airships Power comes from leadership, infrastructure, and survival.

You begin near a ruined settlement on a vast continent.
