A mod intended to spice up Minecraft's progression a little bit especially for versions below 1.21.9 where copper gear isn't a thing.

Bronze is meant to be an alternative to iron. The process of obtaining it is a little lengthier than iron, but it's more durable in return.

Steel meanwhile is meant to be the workhorse tier; 3x as durable as iron and can mine the same things as diamond. I wanted a tier that makes players not feel the need to rush for diamonds early.

Bronze

Silicon Mixture crafting recipe

Bronze mesh crafting recipe

Smelt bronze

  1. Get Copper, Diorite and Sand
  2. Craft Silicon Mixture using 1 Diorite and 1 Sand
  3. Craft Bronze Mesh using Copper Ingot and Silicon Mixture
  4. Smelt in a regular FURNACE to get Bronze Ingot

Steel

Crude iron

Smelt steel

  1. Get Iron and Coal/Charcoal
  2. Craft 4 Crude Iron using 3 Iron and 1 Coal/Charcoal
  3. Smelt in a BLAST FURNACE to get Steel Ingot. NOTE: Process doesn't work with regular furnaces.
