One plugin for every "Minecraft, but..." idea

Open the menu, click a twist, play. Combine as many as you want, or let the roulette swap them every few minutes. Made for challenge videos, streams and events with friends.

The 24 twists

• Random Drops, Random Mob Loot, Scrambled Crafting (scrambled per seed, so you can learn it)
• Explosive Mining, Explosive Arrows, Exploding Mobs
• The Floor Is Lava, Everything Falls, Midas Touch
• Shared Health, One Heart, Jumping Hurts, Deadly Water, Sunburn
• Jump Stacking, Speed Ramp, Sneak Blink, Gravity Flip
• Hydra Mobs, Mob Swap
• Random Item Timer, Inventory Shuffle, Random Teleport, XP Lottery

Roulette

Picks random twists and swaps them on a timer, with a countdown boss bar and a title for everyone.

World reset

Start a fresh run without touching the server files. Pick exactly what gets reset: Overworld, Nether, The End, a new random seed and player data. A confirmation page shows a summary first.

Commands

• /butwhat opens the menu
• /butwhat enable|disable <twist>, /butwhat list, /butwhat off
• /butwhat roulette [minutes|off], /butwhat spin
• /butwhat reset opens the world reset menu

Everything needs butwhat.admin (default: op).

Good to know

• Every twist has its own settings in the config (timers, damage, chances)
• Lasting effects such as One Heart are undone when a twist is switched off
• The world reset restarts the server. It only comes back by itself if a restart script is set in spigot.yml

Compatibility

Spigot, Paper and Purpur, 1.21 up to 26.x, one jar. Java 21 or newer. No dependencies.
