ChatGuard

ChatGuard is a lightweight chat moderation plugin for Paper/Spigot Minecraft servers 1.21.11+. It gives server staff full control over chat with essential moderation tools.

Features

/clearchat confirm — Instantly clears the chat
/chatcooldown <seconds> — Set a global chat cooldown to prevent spam
/lockchat / /unlockchat — Lock chat so only staff can speak
/mute <player> / /unmute <player> — Mute and unmute players (persists across restarts)
/chatguard reload — Reload configuration without restarting

Permissions

chatguard.admin — Admin commands
chatguard.clearchat — Clear chat
chatguard.cooldown — Set cooldown
chatguard.lockchat — Lock/unlock chat
chatguard.mute — Mute/unmute players
chatguard.bypass.cooldown — Bypass chat cooldown
chatguard.bypass.lock — Bypass chat lock

Installation

Drop ChatGuard.jar into your server's plugins/ folder
Restart the server
Configure config.yml as needed
Run /chatguard reload to apply changes

Built for Paper 1.21.11+. Includes a custom plugin icon and color-customizable messages.
