Why Chorus Clear Lag?
Classic clear-lag plugins get the same complaints again and again: diamonds and enchanted gear vanishing, pets and named mobs deleted, holograms and item frames wiped, items lost right as the timer fires, chat spam, no per-world control. Chorus Clear Lag was built around fixing exactly those problems.
| Common complaint | How Chorus Clear Lag handles it |
|---|---|
| Valuable items get deleted | Protected materials with wildcards, enchanted / named / lore items are kept, shulker boxes and netherite are protected by default |
| Items disappear the moment they drop | Minimum item age before an item can be cleared |
| Death drops get wiped | Player death drops are protected for a configurable time |
| "Oops, I lost my stuff" | Item recovery: restore the last cleanups with /ccl restore |
| Pets, named mobs and villagers deleted | Named, tamed, leashed, riding, boss and configurable mob types are always safe, plus mobs near players |
| Holograms, item frames, armor stands, paintings, displays | Never touched: only the entity categories you enable are scanned |
| Passenger boats and minecarts removed | Only empty vehicles are cleared, named vehicles are kept |
| Chat spam | Chat, action bar, title and boss bar are toggleable, and every player can hide announcements with /ccl mute |
| No per-world control | Blacklist or whitelist worlds |
| Not enough control over messages | Every single message lives in messages.yml and can be disabled by leaving it empty |

Configuration
Two files are generated in plugins/ChorusClearLag/:
config.yml: intervals, warnings, announcements, sounds, worlds, what gets cleared, protections, recovery, chunk limiter and TPS triggermessages.yml: every message, with placeholders like{time},{total},{items},{hostile},{passive},{xp},{projectiles}and{protected}
Set any message to "" to disable it.
To keep a specific entity forever, give it the scoreboard tag:
/tag @e[type=minecraft:armor_stand,limit=1,sort=nearest] add chorus_keep

FAQ
Will it delete my villagers or pets? No. Villagers are never scanned, and tamed, named, leashed and riding mobs are protected even when mob clearing is enabled. Mob clearing is disabled by default.
Can I get my items back after a cleanup?
Yes. Use /ccl restore list to see recoverable cleanups and /ccl restore to put the latest one back where the items were. Use /ccl restore 1 20 to restore only items within 20 blocks of you.
Does a manual clear respect protections? Yes. Manual and automatic cleanups use exactly the same protection rules.
Can I hide the announcements?
Players can use /ccl mute. Admins can disable any announcement type in config.yml.
