Claim, protect, and manage your very own Happy Ghast!

ClickGhasts is a lightweight plugin for Paper 1.21.11 that lets players claim Minecraft's native Happy Ghasts, control who can ride them, and protect them from damage.

Whether you want a personal flying companion or a shared mount for your friends, ClickGhasts gives you control over your Happy Ghasts with simple interactions, convenient GUIs, and configurable server settings.

• Ownership protection — Protect claimed Happy Ghasts from damage, with administrative exceptions.

• Trusted players — Add, remove, and list trusted players using commands or the in-game management GUI.
• Easy management — Shift + right-click your claimed Happy Ghast with an empty main hand to open its management menu.
• Movement lock — Claimed Happy Ghasts remain stationary when no authorized rider is controlling them.
• Optional pickup and placement — Store a Happy Ghast in a special spawn egg and place it again later. Disabled by default.
• Configurable limits and cooldowns — Adjust claiming rules, pickup settings, movement behavior, messages, and more.
• Persistent ownership — Claim information is stored on the entity, while trusted-player data is saved separately.

🎮 How to Play

Claim a Happy Ghast

1. Find an unclaimed Happy Ghast.
2. Hold an empty main hand.
3. Sneak and right-click it.
4. Select Claim in the GUI.

Manage Your Happy Ghast

Sneak and right-click your claimed Happy Ghast with an empty main hand to open its management menu. From there, you can manage trusted players, unclaim it, and pick it up if pickup is enabled.

Ride Your Happy Ghast

Right-click with an empty main hand to mount a Happy Ghast, provided you are authorized to ride it. Owners, trusted players, and permitted bypass users can ride according to the server's settings.

Manage Trusted Players

Use /happyghast add <player>, /happyghast remove <player>, and /happyghast list to manage who can ride your Happy Ghasts.

📖 Commands

Trust is shared across all Happy Ghasts owned by the same player.

🔐 Permissions

All permissions use the clickghasts. prefix.

Server administrators can customize permissions using a permissions plugin.

⚙️ Configuration

ClickGhasts includes a configurable config.yml with options for:

• Enabling or disabling claiming
• Enabling or disabling pickup and placement
• Maximum claimed Happy Ghasts per player
• Claim and pickup cooldowns
• Riding permissions and bypass rules
• Movement-lock behavior
• Custom messages and formatting

Default Settings

• Maximum claims: 2 Happy Ghasts per player
• Claim cooldown: 5 seconds
• Pickup cooldown: 5 seconds
• Pickup and placement: Disabled by default

📦 Installation

1. Download the ClickGhasts JAR from the Versions section.
2. Place the JAR in your server's plugins folder.
3. Start or restart your Paper server.
4. Customize plugins/ClickGhasts/config.yml to suit your server.
5. Configure permissions if you want to customize player access.
