Podzol & Coarse Dirt also get turned into stone, as can be seen in the Old Growth Pine Taiga.
Crossing through Plains, Forest & Taiga, this hill creates a gorgeous cliff face.
By having more exposed stone, Vanilla has the ability to generate more natural springs.
Vanilla's hills are made out of dirt with little green grass ledges. Cliff Face changes these to be made out of stone, which Vanilla can then layer ores over.
