What it does
In vanilla you can only fill the other half of a slab block with the same material. With this plugin any other slab fits into the free half: oak on the bottom, stone on top, and you get one full block. Builders get clean material transitions on floors, roofs and cornices without workarounds.
How it works
- A barrier goes inside the block space, so you walk on it like on any normal block
- Both halves are rendered with block displays using vanilla textures. No resource pack needed
- One hit breaks the whole block and drops both slabs
- Build and break permissions are checked like for normal blocks, so claims and region protection keep working
Installation
- Drop CloudVerticalSlabs-1.3.0.jar into plugins
- Restart the server
Config
plugins/CloudVerticalSlabs/config.yml:
merge-different-slabs: true
Set it to false to get vanilla slab behaviour back.
Permission
cloudverticalslabs.merge: merge different slabs into one block (everyone has it by default)
