Coastline is a Minecraft server built around making Minecraft the best it can be. Featuring a wide variety* of games, vast SMPs, and a very nice Discord server.

FAQs

Can this run on my device?

This modpack is built for version 1.21.1 and runs best on the latest version of Java. A low-tuned version of Complementary Shaders and Photon is available by default, and should run fine on most devices. The pack also includes a multitude of performance-enhancement mods; there's a chance that Coastline will run better at times than vanilla Minecraft.

You should have at least 8GB of RAM and a recent mid-range CPU (think 11th gen i5/Ryzen 5 5000). If you want to run shaders, you'll want a GPU with at least 8GB of VRAM (like an RTX 3070 or an RX 6600). An integrated GPU (the one that comes packaged inside your CPU) is likely to struggle. It also helps to play on a SSD instead of a hard drive.

The modpack download is small, but you should have at least 30GB free for game files. This provides some breathing room for thing like world save files and Distant Horizons caches.

What's on this server?

Just one big SMP right now. That doesn't make it any less fun. We've got quite a lot going on.
