Combat Additions

Combat Additions expands Minecraft combat with new weapons, magic, build customization and endgame challenges.

Rather than replacing vanilla combat entirely, the mod builds on top of it and gives players more ways to shape how they fight.

Whether you prefer heavy armor, fast melee combat, magic, or a mixture of everything, Combat Additions is designed to let you build around your own preferences.

Spellcasting

The mod adds 8 schools of magic, each with three tiers of spells.

Spells range from direct attacks and damage-over-time effects to movement, healing, defensive abilities, summons, and battlefield control.

Players can equip four spells at a time and cast them while holding a staff.

As you progress, you will gain access to stronger staffs, spellbooks, and increasingly powerful spells.

Some spells must be discovered through unique challenges and locations throughout the world.

New Ways to Fight

Combat Additions adds several new weapons and armor sets, each with a distinct role.

The Eldritch Scythe has 2 modes: life-stealing and armor-piercing attacks.

The Katana rewards maintaining pressure on enemies and can restore Mana through successful attacks (only for the Eldritch tier).

The Dagger rewards fast backstabbing attacks and allows you to activate a special ability (only for the Eldritch tier).

Finally, the Bandana. It introduces a brand new combat system, which isnt solely based on your Attack damage and speed, but also on 3 new Stats: Strength, which always multiplies your damage output, Critical Chance, which allows you to land critical hits, and Critical Damage, whicn multiplies your damage if you land a successful critical hit.
