Proximity voice chat using your existing Discord — no server plugin, no extra account.

Cordlink turns regular Discord voice channels into 3D positional audio inside Minecraft. Players nearby sound louder, players far away fade out, and voices come from the direction they're actually standing. It's like Simple Voice Chat or Plasmo Voice, but it runs through Discord itself.

✨ Features

  • Proximity / distance-based voice — closer players are louder
  • Directional 3D audio powered by OpenAL
  • Uses Discord desktop — keep your friends, servers, and settings
  • No voice chat server required — works on any Minecraft server
  • Client-side friendly — other players don't need the mod to be heard correctly on your end

⚠️ Important

This mod interacts with the Discord desktop client in ways that are not officially supported by Discord. Use at your own discretion.

🛠 Requirements

  • Minecraft 1.21.3
  • Fabric Loader + Fabric API
  • Java 21
  • Windows (only)
  • Discord Desktop app (browser version not supported)

⚙️ Setup

  1. Drop the .jar into your mods folder
  2. Launch Minecraft with Fabric
  3. Make sure Discord desktop is running
  4. Join our Discord server and link your Minecraft account using the /link command
  5. Back in-game, press Sync
  6. Leave and rejoin your voice channel

💡 Notes

  • Windows only for now
  • Native components are extracted on first launch — some antivirus software may flag this
  • You must rejoin the voice channel after syncing

📌 Status

Experimental — things may change or break without notice. Bug reports welcome.
