Warden Heart Teleporter
Wardens don't just guard the Deep Dark anymore — kill one and it drops its heart, a relic that Create Aeronautics' laser tech can turn into a teleporter.
How it works
- Get a heart. Wardens drop a Warden Heart on death.
- Name it. Rename the heart in an anvil — the name is how two hearts find each other.
- Build the rig. Set up a Create Aeronautics Laser Pointer aimed at a Laser Sensor, powered on.
- Drop it in. Toss the named heart (Q) so it lands inside the beam, between the pointer and the sensor. The laser absorbs it — the beam turns cyan, and that pointer is now a teleporter. (You can still dye it afterward like any other laser.)
- Do it again elsewhere with a second heart of the same name. The moment the second one is absorbed, the two link up.
- Walk into either beam to travel to the other one. You have to actually be standing in the beam — a wall in the way blocks it — and both lasers need to stay powered on, or the link goes dark until they're back on.
Only one heart can be absorbed per Laser Pointer. Shift + right-click an absorbed pointer with an empty hand (or just break it) to pull the heart back out and undo the link.
Fair warning: it has a cost
Teleporting fills a charge meter (shown over your XP bar when you're near a teleporter) — the farther you jump, the more it fills. Once it's too full, that teleporter won't take you again until it drains back down. A single very long jump barely dents it; it's chaining teleports back-to-back that catches up with you.
Also
- Works with laser pointers mounted on Create Aeronautics physics contraptions (ships, cars, etc.), not just fixed rigs — this integration is newer and more likely to have rough edges than the rest of the mod.
- An absorbed teleporter force-loads its own chunk, so it keeps working even when nobody's standing nearby.
- Includes an in-game Ponder guide walking through the whole setup.
