This mod adds asbestos in minecraft. Mix diorite or granite with lava to produce asbestos. Asbestos can be compacted into tuff. You can make asbestos armor, which provides fire resistance while full armor is equiped. CREATE 6.0.10 required. English and Chinese is available.
