DESCRIPTION
This my version of the deathswap minigame created by SethBling and popularized by dream! In this minigame, players swap positions with each other every 5 minutes (configurable), and must use this mechannic to kill the others by environmental damage, by jumping into lava right before a swap for example. You only get to know when a swap is about to happen 5 seconds prior, so you must react quickly! (again, this is configurable)
INSTALLATION / SETUP GUIDE
- Generate a new world, or use an existing one.
- Place the downloaded ZIP file in your world's datapacks folder:
world/datapacksAlternatively, place the datapack in the appropriate datapacks directory on your server. - Run /reload to load the datapack.
- (Optional) Run /function deathswap:config to customize the settings.
- Run /function deathswap:start to begin playing!
The settings with their default values are given below:

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
- This datapack supports any number of players starting from v2.0 and upto 8 in old versions
- Starting from v2.0, you can adjust the time between swaps directly through the configuration menu, however this is not an option in older versions
- You can end a game at any time with /function deathswap:stop and start a new one with /function deathswap:start.
