Easy Soundboard

A client-side soundboard for Fabric. Add your own sounds or download them from a link, trim them on a waveform, stack effects, and play them with hotkeys - locally, or to everyone around you through Simple Voice Chat or Plasmo Voice.

Use it to drop memes and sound effects into voice chat, react with a single key mid-game, play music to nearby players, or simply as a personal in-game jukebox.

Getting started

Press Y to open the panel. Sounds are plain .mp3 / .ogg / .wav files in <game folder>/easysoundboard/sounds/ - put files there yourself or download them in-game (URL tab). Click a sound or press its hotkey to play it. With Simple Voice Chat or Plasmo Voice installed, the sound is mixed into your outgoing voice and heard by every player in range; without them it plays locally for you only.

Sound tab

Everything for the selected sound in one place: play, pause, stop, previous/next track, loop, shuffle, autoplay, a personal hotkey, favorites, rename and delete. Select a segment on the real waveform - playback and hotkeys use only that part; click anywhere on it to seek. The transport buttons can be bound to keyboard keys or extra mouse buttons. A quick-access wheel on U holds 32 sounds (4 pages of 8) and works without opening the panel.

FX tab

Speed (slowed / nightcore, pitch follows), independent pitch, bass and treble, reverb, echo, distortion, robot voice, low/high-pass filter, vibrato, fade in/out, normalize, reverse, volume and boost. Effects apply live while the sound is playing and never modify the original file. Save your own FX presets (Nightcore, Slowed, Radio, Robot, Cave and more are built in) or export the result as a new WAV file.

Favorites

Star any sound and it appears in the Favorites tab.

Folders

Organize the library into named folders. Each folder header has its own controls: add sounds to the folder, migrate all sounds from another folder into it, rename or delete it. Deleting a folder moves its sounds back to the main folder - files are never lost. Previous/next, shuffle and autoplay always stay inside the current sound's folder.

URL tab - downloading sounds

Paste a YouTube or TikTok link (anything yt-dlp supports) and the audio is extracted to MP3 straight into your library. On first use the mod fetches the official yt-dlp and ffmpeg binaries into its tools folder (about 100 MB, one time).

Now-playing indicator and Idol scenes

While a sound plays, a themed indicator shows its name, elapsed time and an equalizer driven by the actual waveform. The Idol tab decorates the indicator with animated scenes: several GIF or image layers, each with its own file, position, scale, rotation, mirroring and z-order (behind or on top of the indicator). Scenes can be saved and switched at any time.

Theme tab

Dark, light and neon presets, or full custom: background (solid or vertical gradient), accent and text colors picked on an HSV wheel, opacity. Save your own themes, or press Random until something clicks. Wave mode animates the whole panel through a custom color palette.

Voice chat support

• Simple Voice Chat - native plugin. Sounds are merged into your outgoing voice, so others hear them even while you are silent. Respects your SVC mute.
• Plasmo Voice - client addon. Sounds are mixed into the captured microphone; push-to-talk is held automatically while a sound plays.
• A mute mic option transmits only the soundboard without your voice; leave it off to talk over the sound.
• Neither mod is required - without them the soundboard still works locally.

Requirements

Fabric Loader 0.19+, Fabric API, Minecraft 1.21.11, Java 21. Simple Voice Chat and Plasmo Voice are optional.
