EC Rank Color

EC Rank Color is a lightweight chat-color addon for Minecraft servers using EssentialsXChat and LuckPerms.

It automatically applies a configurable chat color based on the player's LuckPerms group while keeping the existing EssentialsXChat chat format unchanged.

Players do not need to type color codes such as "&a", "&c", or "&b". They simply send their message normally, and EC Rank Color applies the configured color automatically on the server side.

Configuration

Example:

How It Works

If a player belongs to the "owner" group, they can simply type:

Hello everyone!

They do not need to type:

&aHello everyone!

EC Rank Color detects the player's LuckPerms group and applies the configured color to the chat message.

EssentialsXChat continues to handle the existing chat layout, including prefixes, player names, separators, and other formatting.

Commands

/ecrankcolor reload

Reloads the plugin configuration.

Permission

ecrankcolor.admin

Required to use the reload command.
