To begin your journey, an aspiring enchanter should craft their book:

Written in ancient gibberish, of course. A way to transcribe enchanter's language is the Enchanter's table:

After transcription, you will be able to use the newly created enchanted book on an item. Abilities of enchantments can be found in the book.
Of course, the more you transcribe tablet, the better you get at it. But how much exactly?
