EnderAssets

Gives EnderMap and EnderBeam the Minecraft textures, resource packs and models they draw with, in one small shared plugin.

EnderMap's map and EnderBeam's Portraits and Wardrobe need Minecraft's own textures to draw your world and your players. EnderAssets reads them from your copy of the game, once, for every plugin that uses them.

No Minecraft textures or models are included in EnderAssets. It reads them from a Minecraft client jar that you provide, or that it downloads from Mojang for your server's version if you allow it. They never leave your server.

Setup

1. Drop EnderAssets.jar into plugins/ and restart.
2. In plugins/EnderAssets/config.yml, either:
   • point client-jar at a Minecraft client jar you own, or
   • set download-client-jar: true to fetch the one for your server's version from Mojang. That setting is your acceptance of the Minecraft EULA for the download.
3. Restart.

What it reads

• Your client jar: Minecraft's textures and models.
• Resource packs: drop zips or folders into plugins/EnderAssets/resourcepacks/, or list them in the config. If your EnderBeam site hosts a pack, that pack is used on its own.
• ModelEngine models: copy the .bbmodel files you want shown into plugins/EnderAssets/blueprints/. Only those are shown.
  • Your model files are never shared. They're drawn on your server and only finished pictures are sent, so visitors can't download the models.

/enderassets status shows what it's reading, and /enderassets reload re-reads the config and packs (ops only).

Requires Paper 1.21.4 or newer, on Java 21.
