Fabric mod that draws beams for held compasses and manages every carried compass where vanilla compasses point with no beam, no label, and no list. Beams show names, distances, and colors with favorites and hiding, the locator bar tracks carried compasses, arrival can announce by title, message, sound, or all three, and list icons teleport to a lodestone or set spawn where rights allow without adding commands.

Requirements

Installation

1. Install Fabric Loader.
2. Drop Fabric API and this jar into the mods folder.
3. Launch the game. Beams appear while holding a linked compass. For the list, press L.

Compatibility

• Client side only on Fabric. No server install needed, in single-player and on dedicated servers alike.
• Adds no blocks, items, or world data. List state and settings live in config/exotherm/ files, so existing saves load as before.
• Beams draw in their own pass with depth testing off and change nothing else about rendering. Rendering mod combos are untested, so treat those as untested.

FAQ

Does it add commands? No. Teleport and spawn run vanilla calls from list icons.

Does it work on servers without a server install? Yes. It's client side only and needs no server setup.

Do cross-dimension compasses show beams? Beams and locator tracking run in the dimension stood in. The list shows every carried compass with its dimension.

Can the list rename compasses? It shows each compass under its item name, so rename them the vanilla way with an anvil. The beam label follows the name on its own.

Why are teleport and spawn dimmed? Those icons need cheats, creative, or operator rights. Without them the mod refuses instead of failing in chat.
