Introduction: This plugin adds features to minecarts, renamed to "Express" in an anvil. The added features can change depending on the version. Here is the current features included in the latest version:
-
Pressing Shift or Dismount key automatically drops the minecart making it possible to exit a high speed railway and get the minecart with you. This is useful for servers with faster minecart speeds and prevent minecart clogging.
-
Flat rails gives a boost to the direction a player is looking if the minecart is: stationary, on a flat powered rail and the powered rail beneath is updated to being powered. This allows for flat rail intersections.

Instructions:
Rename an ordinary minecart item to exactly "Express" in an anvil, then place
it on rails. Names are case sensitive. express, EXPRESS, or Express will
not activate the features.
While riding, press Shift (your Sneak/Dismount key) to exit. The cart breaks and drops one minecart at the exit location, preserving its Express name for reuse. Space/Jump is not required. Removal finishes at the end of the same server tick as a normal successful exit, which is normally within 50 ms at 20 TPS. The drop has no added pickup delay.
- Sit in an Express minecart on a flat powered rail that is currently off.
- Look toward the direction you want to travel along the track.
- Switch that rail on with redstone (for example, using a button or lever).
- The cart receives a small starting nudge, then normal powered-rail acceleration takes over.
The boost follows the rail axis: east/west or north/south. Diagonal looks choose the matching direction along the track. Looking up or down retains your horizontal facing. A perfectly sideways look does not choose a direction. The look direction is captured when the rail turns on.
Slopes never receive this boost, regardless of which way the rider faces. This includes uphill and downhill travel on all four ascending rail shapes. Only ordinary, flat powered rails qualify; normal rails, detector rails, and activator rails do not.
The nudge is 0.08 blocks per tick, applied only to stopped or nearly stopped carts (horizontal speed at most 0.03 blocks per tick). Carts already moving normally keep their momentum. Maximum speed and acceleration rules are not changed. The plugin does not continually push the cart or retrigger while the rail remains powered. Switch it off and on again for another start.
Empty carts and differently named carts are unaffected. Power propagated through a connected run of powered rails also works, as long as the rail directly under the cart changes from off to on. Boarding an already-powered rail does not trigger the nudge.
