FakeRevive

A Paper plugin for Minecraft 1.21.4+. When a player dies, the real death message is replaced with a fake leave message and the player is held in spectator mode at their death location. An admin can revive them with /fr revive, at which point they receive a random fake name and borrowed skin that makes them unrecognizable to other players.

Requirements

• Internet access to api.mojang.com and sessionserver.mojang.com for the fake name refill

Commands

• /fr revive <player|@a|@p|@r|team> [kit]: Revive faked out players
• /fr revive <player> <MinecraftName> [kit]: Revive a player disguised as a real Minecraft account
• /fr undisguise [player|fakename|@a]: Remove a disguise
• /fr disguise <player|@a|@p|@r> [MinecraftName]: Assign a random disguise, or a specific account's identity
• /fr exempt add|remove|list: Manage players who are skipped by /fr disguise @a
• /fr kit save|list|delete|give|equip: Manage server kits
• /fr team: Open the team management GUI
• /fr armor <on|off|status> [player|team|@a]: Lock or unlock worn armor
• /fr pool [refill]: Show or refill the fake name pool
• /fr leave: Leave your own team (everyone)
• /fr reload: Reload config and language files
• /fr help: Show the commands you may use

Permissions

fakerevive.admin (default: op) includes all of the following, so you can hand out single commands without giving full admin rights:

• fakerevive.revive: /fr revive
• fakerevive.disguise: /fr disguise, /fr undisguise, /fr exempt
• fakerevive.kit: /fr kit
• fakerevive.team: /fr team
• fakerevive.armor: /fr armor
• fakerevive.pool: /fr pool
• fakerevive.reload: /fr reload

Two more nodes are not part of fakerevive.admin:

• fakerevive.leave (default: everyone): /fr leave
• fakerevive.exempt (default: nobody): skips the player on /fr disguise @a
