Fast Barriers is a QOL (Quality of Life) mod that completely rewrites how Minecraft renders barrier blocks on your client.

In vanilla Minecraft, barriers use a slow particle system. When you place a barrier, it can take seconds for the barrier icon to show up. When you break it or switch away from holding a barrier item, the icon stays in the air for some other seconds before fading away. Also having alot of barriers might cause fps issues especially for builders.

Fully Client-Side This mod works entirely on your client. You can join any multiplayer server or singleplayer world without needing server-side plugins or mod support.
Works with All Graphics Drivers Compatible with both OpenGL and Vulkan graphics setups, including mods like Sodium, Iris.
