FillDispensers

A Spigot/Paper 1.21 plugin that fills dispensers and containers inside a WorldEdit selection with a chosen item and count.

Requirements

  • Spigot 1.21.1 or Paper 1.21.1

Installation

  1. Build or download the latest JAR.
  2. Place it in your server's plugins/ folder.
  3. Restart your server.

Usage

Command Description
//wand → select area → /fd Fill all dispensers in a WorldEdit selection with 64 TNT
/fd <item> [count] Fill dispensers in the current WorldEdit selection
/fd <item> [count] <block1,block2> Fill only specified block types (e.g. chest,barrel,hopper)
/fd checkworldedit Check if WorldEdit is hooked and show your current selection
/filldisp or /fd Aliases

Arguments

  • item — any valid Material name. Default: tnt.
  • count — items per slot (auto-clamped to material max stack size). Default: 64.
  • blocks — comma-separated block types to target. Default: dispensers only.

Examples

//wand
# Left-click: set pos1
# Right-click: set pos2
/fd

→ Fills every dispenser in the selection with 64 TNT per slot.

/fd minecraft:arrow 16

→ Same selection, but each slot gets 16 arrows.

/fd tnt 64 chest,barrel,hopper

→ Fills only chests, barrels, and hoppers with 64 TNT each.

/fd checkworldedit

→ Shows WorldEdit version and current selection coordinates.

Configuration

plugins/FillDispensers/config.yml

max-region-blocks: 250000

max-region-blocks caps the total number of blocks in the scanned region. If your selection is larger, the command is rejected and the limit can be raised here.

Permissions

Permission Default Description
filldispensers.use op Allows using all /filldispensers commands

Compatibility notes

  • This plugin is a hard dependency on WorldEdit. It will not load without WorldEdit installed.
  • WorldEdit 7.0+ is required for selection support.
  • Block updates and block states are preserved.
