FlakeAC Lite
A free, prediction-based anticheat for Paper. The same engine as the paid build, running a smaller set of checks.
Most free anticheats guess. They watch a position, compare it to a number in a config file, and flag when the gap looks too wide. That is why they flag a player on an ice path, in a cobweb, or taking knockback in a fight.
FlakeAC Lite does not guess. It carries the full FlakeAC prediction engine: for every tick, it replays what your client sent through a model of Minecraft movement and works out where a legitimate player could possibly have ended up. If your actual position is reachable, nothing happens. A check only flags when no legal input could have put you there.
That matters for a free plugin, because it means a check in Lite is not a cheaper version of the paid one. It is the same check, judged the same way, to the same standard. Lite simply runs fewer of them.
The 27 checks Lite runs
Movement, judged by the prediction engine
Speed A Flight A Jump A Jump B Jump C Phase A ClickTP A Timer A GroundSpoof A
Movement, judged from the server position alone
Speed B Flight B Jump D NoFall A GroundSpoof B Spider A
Player
Invalid A Scaffold A FastBreak A Nuker A FastPlace A BadPackets A BadPackets B BadPackets D BadPackets E
Anti-crash and inventory
Exploit A Exploit B IllegalItem A
Packet floods and crash packets are dropped rather than flagged, and items no client could have made are taken away.
What Lite does not cover
Worth reading before you report a missed cheat. None of this is behind a setting, and none of it is a weaker version of a paid check. It is absent.
- No combat checks at all. Reach, KillAura, AutoClicker, Aim, Criticals, Velocity, ShieldBypass, TriggerBot, Cooldown, Backtrack, AutoCrystal, AutoAnchor and AutoPot are paid only. Lite will not catch a killaura.
- No speed or flight detection in water or lava. Not weaker there, absent. An unfair advantage taken while in a fluid is not flagged by Lite at all. Fluid movement is the least exact part of any movement model, and blaming a check there is how free anticheats end up flagging swimmers, so the free build stays quiet instead.
- No client or cheat-mod detection, no x-ray tracking, no anti-bot, no VPN check, and no replays or evidence recording.
- No AutoTotem, NoSwing, AirPlace, InventoryMove, AutoArmor, XCarry, FastEat, FastBow, GhostHand, Elytra, Trident, Sprint, Blink, NoSlow, NoWeb, Jesus, Step, WallClimb, FastClimb, Strafe, or any vehicle check.
Every one of these still appears in the in-game menu, named and described, shown as a locked entry, so you can see exactly what the full build adds before deciding whether you want it.
What you do get alongside the checks
Alerts with violation levels, five per-check response modes (silent, setback, mitigate, kick and ban, where mitigate takes away what the cheat gained instead of touching the player), a full punishment system (kick, tempban, ban, unban, a punish menu and ban waves), optional ban animations, alt account detection, a trust system, player freezing for screenshares, a security room, invisible spectating, violation history in SQLite or MySQL, Discord webhooks, cross-server alert forwarding, per-check configuration through both config.yml and in-game menus, and English and German language files.
Requirements
- Paper 1.21.5 to 26.2, Java 21. Paper forks such as Purpur and Pufferfish work. Spigot and Folia do not.
- PacketEvents 2.13.0 or newer, installed on the server.
- Floodgate is optional. If it is present, Bedrock players are handled appropriately: a Bedrock client reports no ping and does not delimit its ticks, so the checks that depend on either are not applied to them.
