FriendlyFire (LifeHeartsPro Addon)
FriendlyFire is a lightweight add-on that gives server owners precise control over friendly fire between LifeHeartsPro teammates. Configure it per team, so PvP can stay enabled elsewhere while teammates are protected.
LifeHeartsPro is required. Install and enable it before FriendlyFire.

Features
- Enable or disable friendly fire independently for each LifeHeartsPro team.
- Protect teammates from melee attacks, projectiles (including arrows and tridents), splash and lingering potions, area-effect clouds, and optionally attacks from tamed wolves.
- Configure team defaults, bypass permissions, attacker and victim messages, action bars, sounds, and feedback cooldowns.
- Manage team settings with /friendlyfire team
<on|off> and inspect them with /friendlyfire info . - Reload the add-on configuration and its English, German, French, and Spanish messages without replacing existing team settings.
- Optional background update checks with notices for server operators.
Installation
- Install and enable LifeHeartsPro.
- Place friendlyfire-lhp-addon-1.1.3.jar in the server's plugins folder.
- Restart the server.
FriendlyFire will not enable if LifeHeartsPro is missing. It synchronizes the required team-friendly-fire setting without performing a full LifeHeartsPro gameplay reload.
Compatibility
One Java 21 bytecode JAR supports Bukkit-compatible Paper and Spigot servers. Compatibility is compile-checked against the Minecraft 1.21 and 26.3 API lines; the project lists 1.21.x and 26.1.x–26.3. Minecraft 1.21.x servers require Java 21; Minecraft 26.1 and later require Java 25.
