HubPilot Link

HubPilot Link

HubPilot Link provides the hub-side telemetry and communication bridge used by HubPilot. It runs alongside HubPilot Hub on the Paper/Bukkit hub server and connects back to HubPilot Core on the Velocity proxy.

Connect your hub to HubPilot Core

HubPilot Link handles communication and telemetry between your Paper hub and HubPilot Core on Velocity. It belongs alongside HubPilot Hub in a normal installation.

When players use the Navigator or staff manage servers from the hub, the hub-side interface needs to communicate with Core. Link supports that connection so the two sides of your installation can work together.

What Link does

  • Provides communication between the Paper hub and Core.
  • Supports the exchange of telemetry used by HubPilot’s hub interface.
  • Keeps the connection component separate from the menus and world interactions.

Link is a supporting component of HubPilot. It does not add its own server-selection menu, host game servers, or replace a power provider.

For the player-facing Navigator and administration menus, install HubPilot Hub. For server requests, provider control, and routing, install HubPilot Core on Velocity.

Installation

Put the Link JAR in your Paper hub’s plugins folder, beside HubPilot Hub, then restart the hub.

A normal installation uses:

Component Install on
HubPilot Core Velocity proxy
HubPilot Hub Paper hub
HubPilot Link Paper hub
HubPilot Interact, optional Paper hub

You do not need Link on every backend game server. Players do not need a client mod for Link.

Follow the main HubPilot setup through /hp claimowner and /hp setup after installing the required components. Link is part of that installation rather than a separate player-facing setup.

Version compatibility

Use the Minecraft versions listed for your download.

Core and Hub must have matching HubPilot versions. Link can remain on an older build only when the release notes explicitly allow it, and no more than two published releases behind. If a release requires a Link update, follow that requirement.

For a new installation, use the component builds recommended together in the release notes.

Documentation and support

If the hub is not communicating correctly with Core, include the versions of all installed HubPilot components, your Paper and Velocity versions, and relevant errors from both consoles. Remove credentials before sharing logs.
