Among Us inside Minecraft. Tasks to finish, sabotages to repair, vents to vanish into, bodies to report and meetings to lie in. No client mods: it works with any vanilla player.

🎭 Secret roles

• Crewmates finish their tasks or vote the impostors out.
• Impostors kill, sabotage and hide in vents until they match the crew in number.
• Optional sheriff (one shot: miss and you die) and engineer (can use the vents).

🧩 14 task minigames

Each with its own interface, not a block to click: fix wiring, swipe card, download data, align engine, fuel, asteroids, keypad, medbay scan, garbage, canisters, O2 filter, Simon sequence, calibrate distributor, breakers.

🚨 5 sabotages

• Lights — the crew can barely see until the panel is fixed
• Communications — task progress disappears
• Reactor and Oxygen — a deadly countdown: repair it or the impostors win
• Doors — seal the passages chosen during setup

🗳️ Meetings

Body reports and a multi-block emergency button, assigned seats at the table, discussion, live voting and ejection with role reveal.

👻 Ghosts

The dead keep doing their tasks, fly invisible to the living, chat among themselves and can haunt the living.

🕵️ Anonymity

Suit colours, hidden name tags and masked skins during the match.

📊 Scoreboards

A built-in sidebar for every situation (hub, waiting, countdown, match, meeting, ghost, ending). It is personal: your role and kill cooldown are shown only to you.

🛠️ Setup without touching files

A setup GUI and a step-by-step chat guide with clickable commands; markers in the map visible only to the editor; every match rule can be overridden per arena.

🖥️ Server integration

• Only one command, /iu: it never steals /join, /msg or /spawn from other plugins
• Granular permissions (LuckPerms-friendly)
• Chat with the Among Us rules, moderation and private messages, limited to the ImposterUs worlds by default
• Arena menu, [IU] signs, Citizens NPCs with live holograms
• English and Italian texts (MiniMessage), PlaceholderAPI placeholders, a small Java API
• Every map is played on a throw-away copy: doors and panels are back every round

📈 Progression

Statistics on SQLite or MySQL, levels, XP, coins, leaderboards (/iu top and top_* placeholders for holograms), reward commands, /iu resetstats with automatic backup.

📦 Requirements

• Paper 1.21.4 – 1.21.11 or 26.1 / 26.2 (one jar)
• Java 21

🚀 Quick start

1. Drop the jar in plugins/ and start the server.
2. /iu setlobby in your hub.
3. In your map world: /iu setup guide (or /iu setup create <name> + /iu setup gui).
4. /iu setup save — players join with /iu join or /iu menu.

📝 Notes

• The jar is about 14 MB because it bundles the SQLite driver with native binaries for many platforms; the plugin code itself is small.
• Problems? Run /iu debug report and attach the file (database credentials are hidden).
