Just A Few is a vanilla-friendly and exploration-focused modpack that aims to enrich the Minecraft experience while not bringing in heavily modded content that strays too far from the original game. Notably this pack aims to use lesser known and more underrated mods, rather than the typical overused ones.
The main features of the mod include:
- The Overworld, Nether and End have been transformed with world generation mods such as Terralith, Wilder Wild, Amplified Nether and Nullscape.
- The Overworld generates in large continents, encouraging exploration.
- A plethora of new structures from Ruined Towns, Underground Houses and Shrines to Illager Manors, Piglin Citadels and End Castles.
- Existing structures such as Mineshafts and Ocean Monuments have been completely revamped.
- Changing seasons, temperature and water management means you will have to plan before long trips.
- Sprawling dungeons that offer unique challenges such as the Toxic Lair and the Lone Citadel.
- More enchantments found in difficult dungeons.
- Minimising the amount of heavy modded content, ensuring that it still feels fresh but vanilla.
- Optimised heavily, and the low amount of mods (52 total) will ensure smooth gameplay.
General tips:
- Prepare specialised food and temperature appropriate armor before venturing into hot or cold biomes.
- Most structures contain charts that lead to larger structures, use this to seek out rarer structures.
