the big cross Minecraft has by default always looks jarring to me when I'm not doing things like PvP; things I rarely do nowadays since I enjoy doing small builds, explore with different terrain gen mods, and just appreciate the beauty this game can offer sometimes. and while mods like Dynamic Crosshair or AutoHUD certainly help, the big cross still becomes a bit of an annoyance and something that looks off to me.
so, taking some inspiration from AimBoot's Ashen 16x, I made this crosshair for myself. using it feels (to me) more tightknit with that medieval and natural style of Minecraft that I appreciate which makes the game feel a lot more polished. pair it with the aforementioned AutoHUD and the SweetBerry Sans Font and I have the perfect combo for me (see the screenshot above).
the only reason I made this crosshair myself is that I was seemingly unable to find a crosshair with this kind of feel, so, hopefully, if you're also in my situation, having this open for the public may help you out. otherwise it makes adding it to my instances a bit more convenient.
