KillStats

KillStats is a lightweight, customizable Paper/Bukkit plugin for tracking PvP kills, deaths, killstreaks, and playtime. It features live MiniMessage formatting, built-in scoreboard sidebars, tablist integration, and reward triggers.

Key Features

• PVP and Stats Tracking: Tracks player kills, deaths, current killstreaks, best killstreaks, and playtime. Calculates KDR automatically.
• Anti-Farm Protection: Prevents kill farming by implementing cooldowns on repeated kills against the same player and optionally ignoring kills between players on the same IP address.
• Personalized Scoreboards: Provides individual sidebars for each player that can be toggled on or off via commands.
• Tablist Integration: Displays custom headers, footers, and player name formats inside the tab list.
• Custom Kill Messages & Sound Effects: Supports randomized kill message templates with placeholder support, actionbar notifications, custom kill sounds, and optional player head drops.
• Reward Systems: Execute console commands on specific kill milestones, streak counts, or per kill.
• Leaderboards: View top players sorted by kills, deaths, KDR, streaks, or playtime asynchronously.
• Vanilla Data Import: Automatically imports existing player statistics from vanilla world save files (stats/*.json).

Commands

• /kills [player] - Shows total kills for yourself or another player.
• /deaths [player] - Shows total deaths for yourself or another player.
• /playtime [player] - Shows total playtime for yourself or another player.
• /stats [player] - Displays an overview of player statistics.
• /statsboard [on|off|toggle] - Toggles the personal scoreboard sidebar.
• /leaderboard <kills|deaths|playtime|kdr|streak> - Displays the top players for a specific category.
• /killstats reload - Reloads the plugin configuration and messages.
• /killstats save - Forces an immediate save of player statistics data.
• /killstats reset <player> - Resets a player's statistics.
• /killstats set <player> <kills|deaths> <amount> - Manually sets a player's stats.
• /killstats import [overwrite] - Imports statistics from vanilla player data files.

Permissions

• killstats.others - Allows viewing stats of other players using /kills, /deaths, /playtime, or /stats.
• killstats.admin - Access to administrative commands under /killstats.

Placeholders & Formatting

KillStats uses MiniMessage for all text configuration (config.yml and messages.yml).

Available Placeholders:

• <player> - Player name
• <kills> - Kills count
• <deaths> - Deaths count
• <kdr> - Kill/Death Ratio
• <streak> - Current killstreak
• <best_streak> - Highest killstreak achieved
• <playtime> - Formatted playtime
• <ping> - Player latency
• <online> - Number of online players
• <total_kills> - Server-wide total kills
• <total_deaths> - Server-wide total deaths
• <weapon> - Weapon used in the kill event
• <distance> - Distance between killer and victim
• <killer_hearts> - Remaining health of the killer

Installation

1. Place the compiled .jar file into your server's plugins/ folder.
2. Start or restart your server.
3. Configure config.yml and messages.yml to fit your server's style.
