A slower, softer kind of SMP

Some servers are a race. KiwiSMP is a place to breathe.

Log in on a quiet evening and you'll find a little cabin smoking by a lake in Norway, a friend group finishing the roof of their village hall in Brazil, and someone in chat helping a brand-new player find their first iron. Nobody's rushing you. Nobody's judging your dirt hut. Build at your own pace, wander wherever you like, and log off knowing your home will still be there tomorrow.

We've been running since 2021, and what makes Kiwi special isn't a plugin list. It's the people. Regulars remember your name, newcomers get real help, and every weekend the whole community gathers to play something silly together. More than 40,000 players hang out in our Discord.

Whether you're here to settle down, explore the world, build something beautiful or just have company while you play, there's a spot for you here.

Earth SMP: build your home on the real planet

The heart of KiwiSMP is our Earth SMP: survival Minecraft on a 1:500 scale map of the real world. The continents, countries, mountain ranges and coastlines are all where you'd expect them.

Build where you actually live. Travel to your hometown and settle in, or pick a peaceful beach on the other side of the world.
Explore the whole planet. Hike the Alps, sail the Mediterranean, or walk from Cairo to Cape Town.
Claim your land. Protected claims keep your builds safe from griefing, so you can log off without worrying.
Find your neighbours. Because the map is 1:500, players end up close together. You'll meet people from your own country and region.
Start a clan or a nation. Team up with friends, build a capital, recruit in the Discord and trade with the towns around you.
Live web map. See every town and build from above at earth.kiwismp.fun, and scout a spot before you even log in.

Survival SMP: classic, calm and shared

Prefer a classic world? KiwiSMP Survival is traditional multiplayer survival with a gentle pace:

A farm that grows a little every session, a base that slowly becomes a village
A player economy with trading and a top-balance leaderboard
A kind, helpful chat, with staff around when you need them

It's the same warm community as the rest of Kiwi, just a simpler world to settle into.

Creative: room to dream

For builders, our Creative plot world is a peaceful studio:

256×256 plots with plenty of space for big ideas
Unlimited WorldEdit
Unlimited custom heads for detailed decoration
Player resizing for roleplay and photos
CoreProtect inspect so you can see who placed what
Community build contests to show off your work

Weekend events, chosen by the community

Every Saturday and Sunday the community comes together for events, and the players vote on what we play. A poll opens in our Discord each week, or you can let the Random wheel decide.

Some community favourites: Squid Game, Hunger Games, Split or Steal, Players vs Zombies, Prop Hunt, King of the Hill, The Gladiators!, The Walls, UHC, Bank Robbery, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, KiwiSMP Court of Law, 99 Nights in the Forest, Kiwi Pillars, Rock, Paper, Scissors and Last to Leave the Circle.

Win, lose or get dramatically betrayed, events are the fastest way to make friends on Kiwi. Winners earn a spot in our hall of fame.

We also celebrate the seasons together. Every October, Count Kiwula opens his crypt for the Vampire's Trials, five spooky mini-games on our website with an exclusive Halloween tag as the prize.
