Manicule is a shared library other Minecraft mods depend on. It does not add items, blocks, or gameplay on its own.
Install it when a mod lists Manicule as a required dependency. Match the Minecraft version and the loader (Fabric or NeoForge) to that mod.
What it does
Manicule gives those mods a common place to:
- Detect Fabric vs NeoForge
- Check whether another mod is loaded
- Tell client from dedicated server
- Find the game config folder
That keeps Yovez mods consistent across loaders instead of each one shipping its own copy of the same helpers.
Requirements
- A Fabric or NeoForge loader for your Minecraft version
- Fabric API, if you are on Fabric
- The Manicule file that matches both your game version and your loader
Current lanes: Minecraft 26.2 (Java 25) and Minecraft 1.21.1 (Java 21).
Installation
- Install Fabric or NeoForge for your Minecraft version.
- Download the Manicule jar for that loader and version.
- Put it in your
modsfolder with the content mods that require it. - Dedicated servers need the same Manicule jar.
Support
If a content mod fails to start and the log mentions a missing manicule mod, you are missing this library or you installed the wrong loader/version jar.
