Mendingless is a Vanilla+ Mending rebalance plugin.
Mending still repairs items like normal, but every item with Mending can repair a specific amount of durability, which you can configure for every item in the config. Once that specified amount of durability gets repaired then the Mending enchantment vanishes from the item.
It also includes configurable anvil costs, librarian Mending prices, item protection at 1 durability, armor retrieve storage, custom lore, legacy lore cleanup, and admin commands.

The main feature of Mendingless is the repair pool. If a diamond pickaxe has 6,244 Mending durability, then Mending can repair 6,244 durability before it gets removed from the item. The item itself does not get extra durability.
Mendingless can also change how much it costs to apply Mending in an anvil. By default, applying Mending costs at least 10 levels. If the item already had Mending before, the cost can increase each time Mending is applied again (by default 5 levels).
Villagers are one of the biggest reasons Mending becomes too easy to get. Mendingless can change the price of just the Mending books from villagers. Other enchanted books and offers are left untouched.
