No Copper

A standalone Minecraft Fabric mod managed by the PCKR Engine that eliminates copper generation, converts existing copper items into iron counterparts, and offers custom Copper Golem building rules.

Features

  • Worldgen Replacement: Intercepts chunk decoration to replace all copper ore and deepslate copper ore features with configured alternatives (Iron, Stone, or Dirt).
  • Crafting Conversions: Adds recipes (5:1 ratio) to convert copper resources to iron counterparts, so you can enjoy decorations without the mining junk of copper:
    • 5 Copper Ingots → 1 Iron Ingot
    • 5 Raw Copper → 1 Raw Iron
  • Custom Copper Golem Construction: Spawns a vanilla Copper Golem using 1 Iron Block + 1 Carved Pumpkin (requires no horizontally adjacent iron blocks to prevent conflict with Iron Golem construction).
  • On-Demand Retroactive Replacement: Sweeps all loaded server chunks upon running the /pckr reload command, replacing all residual copper ores with the configured block type.

In-Game Configuration Screen

Open the standard Minecraft Options menu and click the PCKR Engine button next to "Done" to open the dashboard. Under the No Copper section, click "Expand" to configure each setting:

Option ID Type Default Description
enabled Boolean true Master enable toggle for the mod.
ore_replacement_enabled Boolean true Enables copper ore replacement during world generation.
replacement_block Select "iron" Block to replace copper ore with during generation (Options: iron [Iron Ore], stone [Stone], dirt [Dirt]).
convert_ingot Boolean true Enable copper ingot to iron ingot recipe (5:1 ratio).
convert_raw Boolean true Enable raw copper to raw iron recipe (5:1 ratio).
copper_golem Boolean true Enable custom Copper Golem construction rules.

How to Build Copper Golems

Place 1 Iron Block, then place 1 Carved Pumpkin on top of it. Ensure there are no other iron blocks directly next to the base iron block to prevent triggering an Iron Golem spawn.
