💥 NoBoom: Explosions Without Block Damage

Keep the danger. Lose the craters.

Tired of a creeper blowing a hole in your house? Of crystal PvP wrecking the spawn? NoBoom keeps explosions dangerous to players and mobs but makes them harmless to your blocks. Blast sound, particles and damage stay. Craters and fire are gone.

No mods. No client install. Just drop it into your world.

✨ What's covered

The Ender Dragon fight is untouched: the pillar crystals work exactly as in vanilla.

📦 Installation

1. Download the .zip file.
2. Put it into saves/<your world>/datapacks/ (or the datapacks folder of your server world).
3. Run /reload or restart the world.

Done. No configuration needed.

❓ FAQ

Does it work on servers? Yes. It is a datapack, so players don't need to install anything.

Does it work in singleplayer? Yes.

Is the damage the same as vanilla? It is a close approximation, not an exact copy. It may differ slightly with difficulty or when walls are in the way.

What about beds and Wither explosions? Not covered by this datapack.

Need more control, or the full set? Ask the author about the Paper plugin version, which also covers beds and the Wither and has /noboom commands to toggle each explosion type.

💥 NoBoom: взрывы без разрушений

Опасность остаётся, кратеры исчезают.

Надоело, что крипер делает дыру в доме, а кристальное ПВП превращает спавн в руины? NoBoom сохраняет взрывы опасными для игроков и мобов, но блоки остаются целыми. Звук, частицы и урон на месте. Кратеров и огня нет.

Без модов. Ничего ставить на клиент не нужно.

✨ Что закрыто

• 🟢 Крипер: урон по существам остаётся, блоки целы
• 💎 Кристалл Энда: поставленные игроками кристаллы взрываются без разрушений (отлично для ПВП-серверов)
• 🔥 Огненные шары гаста: без кратера и без огня
• ⚓ Якорь возрождения: заряженный якорь вне Ада больше не сносит всё вокруг

Бой с драконом Края не затронут: кристаллы на столбах работают как в ванили.

📦 Установка

1. Скачай .zip.
2. Положи в saves/<твой мир>/datapacks/ (на сервере это папка datapacks в папке мира).
3. Выполни /reload или перезапусти мир.

❓ Частые вопросы

Работает на сервере? Да, игрокам ничего ставить не нужно. В одиночной игре? Да. Урон как в ванили? Близко, но не идентично: может отличаться по сложности или из-за стен. Кровати и визер? Этим датапаком не закрыты. Есть версия-плагин для Paper, она закрывает и их, и в ней есть команды /noboom.
