NovaShield Client

NovaShield Client is a Fabric mod for Minecraft 26.2 used for client verification on servers that use the NovaShield system.

When connecting to a server, the mod sends the mod IDs and mod versions loaded by Fabric to the Minecraft server. The server compares this information against its own mod whitelist. Mods that are not approved may be logged, and the connection may be rejected.

Privacy

Only the following information is transmitted:

  • Installed Fabric mod IDs
  • The corresponding mod versions
  • The NovaShield Client version
  • A randomly generated connection challenge

NovaShield Client does not read or transmit personal files, login credentials, chat messages, hardware identifiers, or any other content from the user's computer.

The Minecraft server may associate the reported mod list with the connected Minecraft player.

Data is transmitted only when connecting to a server that supports NovaShield client verification.

Requirements

  • Minecraft: 26.2
  • Fabric Loader: 0.19.3 or newer
  • Fabric API: for Minecraft 26.2
  • Java: 25

Note: NovaShield Client is not a standalone anti-cheat and provides no additional functionality on servers that do not use NovaShield verification.
