Welcome to the official modpack for Phantom Frontier, the survival-based Pixelmon server within the Phantom Journeys Network. Additional servers are underway.

After a long hiatus, Phantom Frontier has returned with a renewed focus on original progression systems, cooperative encounters, exploration, and useful player resources. This pack provides the complete recommended client setup for experiencing everything the server has to offer.

Most server activities can still function without the complete pack. However, the official modpack is strongly recommended, and Stellar Skills requires its included client components.

⭐ Original Phantom Frontier Systems 🧭 Stellar Skills

Choose from multiple themed classes built around different styles of Pixelmon and Minecraft gameplay.

Develop your class, unlock abilities, and eventually specialize through a dedicated subclass pathway. Committing far enough into one specialization will lock competing paths, making your choices meaningful.

The system includes:

🏰 Daily Dungeons

Enter repeatable challenges filled with Pokémon-modeled trainers, miniboss encounters, dungeon-specific keys, reward vaults, and powerful Titan bosses.

The first available dungeon is the Swallowed Citadel.

Inside, players can:

Defeat dungeon trainers

Challenge three unique minibosses

Earn Swallowed Citadel Trial Keys

Unlock three standard reward vaults

Prepare for the server-wide Titan encounter

Defeat Guzzlord the Usurper

Earn an Ominous Key for the final vault

Dungeon trainers and vaults reset each day. Titan encounters occur during scheduled server-wide event windows and are announced when active.

🌌 Stellar Anomalies

Strange MissingNo-like entities can be discovered within Ultra Space.

Capture an Anomaly and return it to the Phantom Frontier Lab, where the Conversion Machine can stabilize it into a usable Pokémon.

Converted Pokémon are random and may receive exceptional properties, including:

Boosted statistics

Shiny coloration

A special aura

Anomalies have a low capture rate when using ordinary Poké Balls. Master Balls and the upcoming MissingNo Ball offer better options for securing them.

⚔️ Invader Events

Invaders appear when certain server conditions are met.

Players must work together to defeat them before the encounter expires. Successful defenses provide server-wide benefits, while failed or neglected invasions may temporarily inflict server-wide punishments.

Use /titans to view active encounters, spawn information, and damage progress.

🌊 Pokémon Swarms

Every two hours, an eligible Pokémon species is selected for a 30-minute swarm.

Swarms create opportunities to hunt a particular species in larger numbers. Legendary Pokémon, Ultra Beasts, Paradox Pokémon, Ditto, and Ultra Space locations are excluded from the system.

🧪 Stellar Expeditions

Send individual Pokémon on adventures where their traits, supplies, experience, relationships, and destination knowledge can influence the outcome.

Random encounters and decisions

🎭 Stellar Disguises

Unlock Pokémon species and transform your character into them with /disguise.

Disguises may include:

Standard species appearances

Regional forms

Shiny palettes

Adjustable character size

Special seasonal options

Disguise unlocks can be earned through gameplay, ranks, events, and crate rewards.

🌍 Explore a Terratonic World

Phantom Frontier combines Terralith and Tectonic to create the server’s Terratonic world generation.

Expect sweeping terrain, unusual biome combinations, dramatic mountain ranges, deep valleys, and memorable locations suitable for building, collecting, and Pokémon hunting.

Whether you establish a quiet settlement or disappear into the wilderness, the world is designed to reward exploration.
