PlayerActionLogger-Reborn

PlayerActionLogger is a lightweight, Paper-focused moderation and activity-tracking plugin designed to help server owners understand player behavior and investigate disputes using clear, readable evidence.

The plugin creates separate username-based logs for each player while maintaining a UUID index to preserve identity history when usernames change. It records important moderation events, including joins, quits, chat, commands, deaths, block breaking and placement, inventory interactions, item pickups and drops, crafting, smelting, bucket use, fire, explosions, portals, PvE damage, PvP combat, and selected server and world activity. Pretty much everything!

PvP encounters are grouped into combat incidents with readable summaries and raw hit-by-hit timelines. These reports may include participants, probable initiators, damage dealt, remaining health, deaths, combat logouts, repeated attacks, respawn context, environmental damage, and post-death item pickups.

PlayerActionLogger also includes a local web dashboard with player profiles, current activity summaries, combat reports, moderation alerts, daily activity history, frequently active areas, server statistics, log searching, and direct access to evidence. By default, the web dashboard is bound to 127.0.0.1:8080, which means it can only be accessed from the same machine running the Minecraft server. The bind address and port can be changed in config.yml if remote access is needed, but the dashboard should not be exposed publicly without proper authentication and network protection.

All logs are stored as plain text and formatted for both human review and analysis with LLMs such as GPT, Gemini, and Claude. This makes it easier to review large amounts of player activity, reconstruct incidents, identify patterns, and investigate griefing, theft, suspicious mining, combat disputes, and other moderation concerns.

The plugin is designed to remain lightweight. It uses background file writing, avoids unnecessary movement and fluid-flow spam, requires no external database, and keeps readable text logs as the primary evidence record.
