PortalControl

Close the Nether or the End with one command, and open it again when you are ready. Useful for a fresh survival server, an event start, or simply to keep players out of the End until the dragon fight.

🇺🇸 English Description

PortalControl switches the Nether and the End on and off. When a dimension is off, players cannot light a new portal to it and cannot travel through the portals that already exist. The setting is saved, so it stays the same after a restart.

✨ Features

• Nether off: flint and steel, fire charges and lava do not light a nether portal, and existing nether portals do not teleport.
• End off: an Eye of Ender cannot be placed into a portal frame, and an already open End portal does not teleport.
• Vehicles too: a player riding a minecart or boat through a disabled portal stays where they are.
• Way back stays open: only travel from the overworld is blocked. Players who are already in the Nether or the End can always come home.
• Saved: the state is written to config.yml and survives restarts.
• Clear message: players get a short "portals are disabled" message, without chat spam while they stand in the portal.

⚠️ Good to know

• Turning a dimension off does not kick out players who are already there.
• End gateways (the small portals around the End island) are not affected.
• Mobs and items can still pass through portals; only players are stopped.
• Supported range: 1.21 - 26.2. Confirmed by testing on Purpur 1.21, 1.21.4, 1.21.11, 26.1.2 and 26.2; other versions in this range are expected to work but have not been tested individually.
• Tested on Purpur only. Paper, Spigot and Bukkit use the same Bukkit API but were not run separately.

PortalControl включает и выключает Ад и Энд. Когда измерение выключено, игроки не могут зажечь новый портал туда и не могут пройти через уже построенные порталы. Настройка сохраняется и не сбрасывается после перезапуска.

✨ Особенности

• Ад выключен: огниво, огненный заряд и лава не зажигают портал, а существующие порталы в Ад не переносят.
• Энд выключен: Око Края нельзя вставить в рамку, а уже открытый портал в Энд не переносит.
• И в транспорте: игрок в вагонетке или лодке тоже остаётся на месте.
• Путь назад открыт: блокируется только переход из обычного мира. Кто уже в Аду или в Энде, всегда может вернуться.
• Сохраняется: состояние пишется в config.yml и переживает перезапуск.
• Понятное сообщение: игрок видит короткое «порталы отключены», без спама в чат, пока стоит в портале.

• Выключение не выкидывает игроков, которые уже в этом измерении.
• Шлюзы Энда (маленькие порталы вокруг острова) не затрагиваются.
• Мобы и предметы через порталы проходят; останавливаются только игроки.
• Поддерживаемый диапазон: 1.21 - 26.2. Проверено тестами на Purpur 1.21, 1.21.4, 1.21.11, 26.1.2 и 26.2; остальные версии диапазона должны работать, но отдельно не проверялись.
• Тестировалось только на Purpur. Paper, Spigot и Bukkit используют тот же Bukkit API, но отдельно не запускались.

🚀 Installation / Установка

1. Download the PortalControl-1.1.0.jar file.
2. Drop it into your server's plugins/ folder.
3. Restart your server and use /portal nether off or /portal end off.
