PortalLinker

Manually link portal pairs to exact destinations, bypassing vanilla's fuzzy nether-portal search. Built for technical setups — portal-based chunk loaders, orbital cannons — where vanilla keeps linking portals to the wrong spot.

How it works

Mark two points and bind them. Whenever a player or entity enters a portal within link-radius blocks of point 1, they are teleported to the exact location of point 2 (and vice-versa) — no portal search, no new portal creation.

Commands

  • //setportal1 — mark point 1 at your location
  • //setportal2 — mark point 2 at your location
  • //save [name] — link the two points (they reset afterward)
  • //portals — open a menu of all links (left-click → TP to portal 1, right-click → TP to portal 2, shift-click → delete)

Plain single-slash aliases are also registered (/setportal1, /saveportal, /portals).

Config

link-radius: 3.0 — how close (in blocks) a portal must be entered to count as a saved point.

Permission: portallinker.use (default: op). Requires Paper (or a fork like Purpur) 1.21+.
