i wanted my survival world to feel different month to month instead of the same loop forever. so i made the server rotate through ages that actually change the rules.
the age of magic doubles your xp. the age of famine slows crop growth to a crawl. the age of wilderness doubles sapling and mushroom drops. it rotates on its own schedule, announces each change with a title, and remembers exactly where it was across restarts. if the server was offline when a rotation was due, it catches up silently instead of spamming everyone.
ages, durations, and every modifier are fully configurable, so you can invent your own: an age of builders with faster block breaking, an age of storms, whatever fits your world. it supports the newer 26.x blocks with graceful fallbacks on older versions.
what it does
- rotating server ages that rewrite gameplay rules
- fully configurable ages, durations, and modifiers
- state saved to json, survives restarts, silent catch-up after downtime
- rotation broadcasts with titles
/erato check the current age,/era list,/era set <age>
