PurpleSMP is a small survival server that started between friends and eventually opened up to everyone. We're aiming for a mostly vanilla experience with a few extras to make things more interesting, without changing what makes Minecraft fun.
Build at your own pace, claim your land, open a shop, or work your way through mcMMO and Jobs. PvP is completely optional, and griefing isn't allowed.

Level up your skills as you play, with abilities and rewards for everything from mining to combat.
Jobs & Economy
Earn money and level up professions while doing everyday survival activities.
Create chest shops to trade with other players, or set up a public warp so people can visit your shop or builds.
Free Ranks
Earn playtime, prestige, and referral ranks just by playing and inviting friends. No purchases required!
Custom Enchants
Over a dozen extra enchantments to find and experiment with.
Land Claims
Protect your builds by claiming land with a golden shovel. Select two opposite corners to create your claim.
Toggleable PvP
PvP is disabled by default. You can enable or disable it whenever you want.
Resource Worlds
Separate worlds for gathering materials that reset every two weeks, so there's always somewhere fresh to explore.
Personal Vaults
Extra storage accessible through commands. Everyone gets one personal vault, boosters get two, and supporters get five.
Proximity Voice Chat
Talk to nearby players in-game using the Simple Voice Chat mod. The mod is required to use this feature.
Homes & Teleportation
Set homes, teleport to friends, and use a few extra convenience commands.
Crossplay
Java and Bedrock players can join the same server, so you can play with friends on different platforms.
