RandomItems

A chaos/troll Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 with six independent commands. Each one runs its own timer and boss bar per player, and can be toggled on/off separately — mix and match however you want.

Commands

📦 /randomitems start [seconds]

(default: 5s) — every interval, a completely random item from the game is added to your inventory — genuinely anything, including bedrock. Drops on the ground if your inventory is full.

🐔 /randommobs start [seconds]

(default: 5s) — every interval, a random living entity spawns near you. Could be a chicken. Could be the Ender Dragon.

⚔️ /randomweapon start [seconds]

(default: 30s) — the item in your selected hotbar slot is replaced with a random weapon: any sword, any axe, a trident, or just a plain stick.

🛡️ /randomarmor start [seconds]

(default: 30s) — all 4 armor slots are randomized independently — any material from leather to netherite, a turtle shell for the helmet slot, or completely empty (you might end up with no armor at all).

🎣 /randomtool start [seconds]

(default: 30s) — your off-hand gets a random item: fishing rod, flint and steel, spyglass, wind charge, ender pearl, totem of undying, lava bucket, shield, or nothing.

📜 /randomquest start

Assigns a random 5-minute quest — mine a stack of dirt, kill 10 zombies, touch water, take damage, and 24 more. A boss bar counts down the time limit, and a personal sidebar shows your current quest, progress, and total completed this session.

  • Finish early → the next quest starts immediately.
  • Run out of time → you take damage (like Instant Damage I), then the next quest starts.
  • Progress only counts what you do after the quest starts (blocks freshly broken, mobs freshly killed, etc.) — nothing you already had counts toward it.

Use <command> stop to turn any of these off. /randomquest stop also resets your completed-quest counter.

Notes

  • Every command works independently per player — multiple people can have different commands (or the same one) running at once.
  • All chat messages, boss bars, and the quest sidebar automatically match each player's client language — Russian if their game is set to Russian, English otherwise.
  • Great for co-op chaos runs, streaming, or just messing with a friend.
