Ravens that can deliver mail to your friends
Inspired by Arathain's ravens from Content SMP.
How It Works
Find a wild raven then tame it. Once you tame it, give the raven a bundle renamed to your friend's username. The raven will go to said friend as long as they are in the same dimension as the raven. Once the the mail is picked up, the raven will return to it's owner
How to Tame a Raven
Ravens can be found in:
- Taiga
- Old Growth Pine Taiga
- Old Growth Spruce Taiga
- Snowy Taiga
- Birch forest
- Old Growth Birch forest
- Savanna
- Savanna Plateau
- Windswept Savanna
- Wooded Badlands
Ravens can be tamed with:
- Raw meat
- Raw Fish
- Berries
- Apples
- Eggs
Raven Come in many variants:
- Black
- Gray
- White
- Albino
- Brown
- Blue
- Red (unobtainable)
- Purple (unobtainable)
- Gold (unobtainable)
Raven Behaviour
- They can look for food or shiny objects and pathfind towards them and pick 1 up. Make sure they don't steel your diamonds
- They attack silverfish
- If you attack one wild raven, all nearby wild ravens will attack(except babies)
- They can be sitted, they just sit. I can't explain more.
Raven Eggs
When bred, a raven will drop an egg.
The egg has to placed on a soft block (like wool, hay blocks, grass, dirt...) to hatch.
The hatched baby is untamed has to be tamed
The eggs can be silk touch
The break when jumped on
