This mod allows to use amplifier of blindness and darkness status effects to configure distance of fog.
Default behaviour should be similar to vanilla minecraft.
By increasing amplifier you will increase the distance of the fog.
reblindness
Allows "amplifier" to work on blindness and darkness status effects. In a reverse way.
