Simple Death Ban 💀

Die once, and you're banned until an admin pardons you.

A lightweight hardcore-style plugin for Paper and Purpur 26.2.

Features

• ☠️ Death ban: dying kicks you and locks you out of the server
• 🛡️ Admin immunity: admins can't be death banned
• 🔓 Easy pardons: pardon one player or everyone
• 🔊 Wither spawn sound: plays for everyone when someone dies, and stacks if several players die at once
• 🗿 Head drops (optional): drops the player's head with their exact skin, off by default
• ⚙️ Configurable: messages, kick delay, sound and head drops

Commands

• /deathban pardon <player>: pardon one player
• /deathban pardon all: pardon everyone
• /deathban list: show who is death banned
• /deathban reload: reload the config

Alias: /dban

Permissions

• simpledeathban.admin: use /deathban (OP by default)
• simpledeathban.bypass: can't be death banned (OP by default)

Requirements

• Paper or Purpur 26.2
• Java 25

Death bans are stored in the plugin's own bans.yml, so use /deathban pardon instead of /pardon.
