Shiny

This modpack replicates the famous (or infamous) Shine 3.0 mod while building on it with much better performance.

The modpack is fully client-side. Play your favorite servers on this modpack, or play with a friend (friends or hosting not included!)

Shiny centers on immersive environmental visuals (VFX) and dynamic audio (SFX), transforming standard gameplay into an atmospheric experience without adding heavy content or altering core vanilla mechanics.

Visual Effects (VFX) Breakdown

• Dynamic Lighting & Glows: LambDynamicLights lets glowing items cast real-time light, while Glowing Ores makes mineral veins softly illuminate dark caves.

• Environmental Weather & Particles: Atmospherics, Particle Rain, and Particular Reforged add ambient dust, realistic rainfall splashes, and enhanced environmental particles.

• Interactive World & Foliage: MC2 - Interactive Foliage and Fancy World Animations make grass, leaves, and plants sway dynamically when passed through and give doors, chests, gates, and lanterns animations.

• Organic Nature Details: Falling Leaves Plus adds drifting leaf particles from trees, and Puddles & Floods forms realistic puddle visuals during downpours.

• Water: Wakes generates realistic ripples and foam trails behind entities in water.

• Enhanced Small Details: Visuality adds extra sparkle and small particle effects, paired with Subtle Effects for refined minor visual cues.

Sound Effects (SFX) Breakdown

• Immersive Environmental Audio: AmbientSounds introduces rich soundscapes.

This modpack also has some extra small features, like Zoom from Zoomify, or uku's Armor HUD!

This modpack pretty much wouldn't exist without the ATMOSPHERICS mod!

  P.S. lumaLight is an alternative to ATMOSPHERICS that can be used with ATMOSPHERICS to be closer to the Shine mod
