SkyIsles

Skyblock for modern Paper. Every player or team gets their own island in a void world, with island ranks, a protection-flags menu, starting-island templates, a Nether and everything you'd expect from a full Skyblock core, in one small plugin with no add-ons to install.

Built and tested on Paper 26.3 (also tested on 26.2, 26.1.2 and 1.21.11).

Features

Islands

• /is creates your island (pick from Classic, Meadow or Desert starts) and takes you there
• Islands on a grid in a void world, each with its own protected area and a visible island border
• Safe teleports (never into a wall or over the void) and void rescue: fall off and you're caught and sent home
• Several homes per island, island names, /is near, /is info
• Obsidian scooping: right-click obsidian with an empty bucket to get your lava back
• Resets with a confirm step, a limit and a cooldown; the old island is wiped in the background and its spot reused
• "Entering / Leaving " messages

Teams & ranks: Owner, Sub-owner, Member, Trusted, Coop and Visitor, plus Banned

• /is invite, accept, reject, leave, kick, promote, demote, setowner
• /is coop (helps until they log off), /is trust (stays), /is ban, /is expel, /is lock

/is settings menu: choose the lowest rank allowed for each of 15 flags: breaking and placing blocks, containers, doors, redstone, workstations, buckets, animals, villager trading, item frames and armor stands, beds, crop trampling, item pickup and drop, ender pearls. Plus island switches: PvP, Nether PvP, fire spread, TNT damage, mob griefing, monster spawning, animal spawning, leaf decay and lock.

Nether: a nether portal built on an island leads to that island's own spot in the Nether.

• nether-mode: islands gives a void Nether with a small netherrack island each; fortresses and bastions can still generate, floating, so blaze rods are obtainable
• nether-mode: vanilla gives normal Nether terrain anyone can mine

Admin: /isadmin tp | info | delete | setowner | setrange | resets | add | kick | bypass | setspawn | reload

Good with

• Multiverse: create the worlds with -g SkyIsles. A Multiverse portal pointed at the Skyblock world drops players straight onto their own island.
• Multiverse-Inventories: put the Skyblock worlds in their own group. Resets and leaving only ever clear the Skyblock inventory.

Install

Requires: Paper (or a Paper fork like Purpur), Java 21+ (Java 25 for 26.x servers). Spigot and Folia are not supported.

Without Multiverse: drop SkyIsles.jar in plugins/ and restart. The skyblock and skyblock_nether worlds are created for you. Send players there with /is.

With Multiverse: drop it in, restart, then once from the console:

mv create skyblock normal -g SkyIsles
mv create skyblock_nether nether -g SkyIsles

Optional hub portal: /mvp create to_skyblock w:skyblock. Players who walk in go straight to their island, or get a [Create my island] button.

Config

Everything is in plugins/SkyIsles/config.yml and explained there: world names, Nether mode, island spacing and size, island height, templates, team size, homes, resets and cooldown, clearing inventories on reset, the border, obsidian scooping, void rescue, PvP and the starter chest contents.

Not included (yet)

Island levels and /is top, challenges, warp signs, a cobblestone generator, End islands, translations (messages are English) and PlaceholderAPI. Suggestions are welcome!
